Ukraine introduced visa regime for Russian citizens from July 1

On July 1, the Ukrainian authorities introduced a visa regime for Russian citizens, APA reports citing Perild.

To obtain a Ukrainian visa, Russian residents can apply to one of the VFS Global visa centers in eight Russian cities, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry said earlier. Applications will be considered by Ukrainian diplomats in third countries, since on February 24, after the start of the Russian military invasion, Ukraine severed diplomatic relations with Russia, and all Ukrainian diplomats left the country.

However, even the presence of a visa does not guarantee 100% admission of a Russian citizen to Ukraine. The final decision will be made by the border guards at the checkpoint.
