62% of Georgia’s automobile export falls on share of Azerbaijan

In January-July of this year, the value of Georgia’s automobile export decreased by 42,2% in annual comparison and made up USD 198 509,6 thousand, the report of National Statistics Office of Georgia notes, APA’s Georgian bureau reports.

It has been noted that during the reporting period, exports in this category accounted for 11.3% of the country's total exports. Georgia exported automobile worth USD 343 689,7 thousand in 2019 and its share in the total export of the country was 16,3%.

The report reads that In January-July of the current year, Georgia exported automobile worth USD 122 211,7 thousand to Azerbaijan. This indicator is USD 443,1 thousand or 0,4% more in comparison to the related period of the previous year. Thus, during the first 7 months of the previous year, the value of the product exported to Azerbaijan by Georgia was USD 121 768,6 thousand.

So, during the reporting period, 61,5% of Georgia’s automobile export fell on share of Azerbaijan.
