Azerbaijan and the World Bank prepare a new project directed the development of railways and freight logistics (Azerbaijan Railways & Logistics Modernization Program), The World Bank's office in Azerbaijan told APA.
According to the information given by Bank, It is considered that 400 million dollars(initial approximate figure) of the project that valued totally 800 million dollars(indicative figure) will be allocated by the World Bank.
“The final volume of the loan will depend on different factors and will be clear after the preparation of the project. In the case of the agreement between parties, the project will be directed on the modernization of Baku-North Border railway line” Bank said.
