Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. announced in its third-quarter earnings guidance on Friday that its operating profit is expected to drop 31.7% from the same period in 2021 and stand at around 10.8 trillion won ($7.7 billion), APA reports citing Tele Trader.
Meanwhile, sales are forecast to land at 76 trillion won ($53.8 billion), up 2.7% compared to the third fiscal period last year. Both the operating profit and revenue figures came in under market estimates. The company is set to release its earnings report on November 3.
