Azerbaijan, Afghanistan and Turkmenistan discuss road map draft on cooperation

On July 27, in order to discuss road map draft on expanding cooperation in the field of trade and investment, energy, transport and logistics, telecommunication and information technologies, custom and border issues among the republic of Azerbaijan, Islamic Republic of Afghanistan and Turkmenistan the meeting of working group consisting of representatives of three countries has been held in a videoconference format, the press service of Cabinet of Ministers told APA.

Delivering a speech at the meeting, the head of the Working group from the Azerbaijani side, Deputy Prime Minister Shahin Mustafayev noted that in accordance with the instructions given during the meeting of the Presidents of Azerbaijan, Afghanistan and Turkmenistan held on July 2, in a videoconference format, road map draft on expanding and deepening cooperation among three countries in different fields has been developed by the Azerbaijani side.

Wide exchange of views on the current situation and future development of cooperation in the field of transport and communication among Azerbaijan, Afghanistan and Turkmenistan have been held among the parties.

The working group is headed by Ajmal Ahmadi, chairman of the Central Bank of Afghanistan, and Bayramgeldi Ovezov, deputy chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan.
