The phone conversation has taken place between minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov and the minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Linas Linkevicius, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan told APA.
The minister Linas Linkevicius congratulated Jeyhun Bayramov on occasion of his appointment to the position of minister of Foreign Affairs of the Azerbaijan Republic and wished him every success in his future activity.
The ministers conducted exchange of opinions on a number of issues being on agenda of bilateral cooperative relations and the perspectives of their future development.
The minister Jeyhun Bayramov briefed his Lithuanian counterpart on the military provocation committed by the Armenian armed forces on Azerbaijan-Armenia border and the still continuing tense situation in the region.
