Armenian justice minister Artak Zeynalyan is getting death threats because of the opinion he voiced about the Azerbaijani citizen, who earlier crossed into Armenia after getting lost, ONA reports citing Armenpress.

Zeynalyan said he has already appealed to the law enforcement agencies with regard to the issue.

He said after his announcement about the possibility of returning Azerbaijani citizen to his country, Zeynalyan got open death threats in the comments written to the news posted on social networks.

Media reports said the person threatening Zeynalyan is the 35-year-old resident of Tavush district of Armenia.

During a briefing, Zeynalyan said if there are no crime factors in Azerbaijani citizen Elvin Ibrahimov’s crossing the border of Armenia, and if Ibrahimov is willing to return, then Armenia should hand him over to Azerbaijan.
