# 27 February 2019 14:36 (UTC +04:00)

Azerbaijanis detained in Moscow while trying to hold a rally in connection with the anniversary of the Khojaly genocide will be brought to justice, ONA's Russian bureau reports.

Today the Moscow court will consider the case against a group of Azerbaijanis.

They are charged with violation of public order. There is a possibility that the court will make a decision on the daily arrest, administrative punishment or deportation of them from the country.

Note that on February 26 a group of young Azerbaijanis tried to hold a flash mob in connection with the 27th anniversary of the Khojaly genocide. The police of the capital stopped the cars decorated with the flags of Azerbaijan and the slogans associated with the Khojaly genocide. Azerbaijanis participating in the action were taken to nearby police stations.
