Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov met with the President of the Republic of Albania Bajram Begaj on March 13, Cabinets of Ministers told APA.
The significance of X Global Baku Forum has been stressed, and the participation of the Albanian President at a special session dedicated to the 100th anniversary of President Heydar Aliyev has been welcomed.
The historical importance of President Ilham Aliyev's state visit to Albania in November last year in terms of the development of relations between the two countries was highlighted.
They expressed satisfaction with the successful development of Azerbaijan-Albania cooperation in many fields, and discussed the prospects of relations in economic trade, investment promotion, energy, agriculture, humanitarian and other directions.
