"Today we commemorate the dear memory of Heydar Aliyev, the National Leader of the brotherly Azerbaijani people, with deep respect on the 100th anniversary of his birth" noted in the statement of the Organization of Turkic States, APA's Istanbul bureau reports.
Noted that Heydar Aliyev became a leader who opened large opportunities in order for Azerbaijan to be a strong and modern country: "Thanks to his patriotism, wisdom, and will, Azerbaijan has achieved great progress in the way of political, socio-economic, scientific-technical and cultural development. Heydar Aliyev is one of the architects of the Turkic world with his important services in bringing the brotherly Turkic states and peoples together," noted OTS.
