“We are cooperating with Azerbaijan in various fields for 30 years. This includes energy field, human rights, etc,” US ambassador to Azerbaijan Lee Litzenberger told journalists, APA reports.
“30 years pass since the establishment of diplomatic relations with Azerbaijan and the US, and Azerbaijan’s separation from the USSR. In this period, the US was a country that supported independence and sovereignty in the South Caucasus,” said the Ambassador.
The ambassador added that the US as a long-term and strong friend of Azerbaijan is ready to support the achievement of peace in the region, the establishment of relations between people, opening of transport and communications.
