4 Armenian servicemen imprisoned in Azerbaijan served their sentences and expected to be handed over Armenia

The Supreme Court of Azerbaijan has considered a cassation appeal against four people who are accused of being part of a terrorist armed group consisting of Armenian citizens, APA reports citing the website of the Supreme Court.

Their cassation appeal was partially satisfied. The penalties assigned to those persons were reduced, and they were sentenced to 1 year 8 months and 25 days of imprisonment.

Four people who are citizens of Armenia have been released since those persons served their sentences.

However, the verdicts state that the persons who have completed their sentences must be immediately removed from the borders of Azerbaijan.
