Condition, appeared regarding coronavirus (COVID - 19), will not seriously effect cargo transportation from Iran in the direction of Azerbaijan, Director of ADY-Container LLC on Business Development Rashad Majidov told journalists in the framework of the International Transport B2B Forum organized in Baku by Caspian European Club, APA-Economics reports.
According to him, coronavirus, which has a threat of spread in the region, has caused several problems in logistics. Decrease in cargo transportation from Iran has not been recorded in transportation, but logistics field. Because if there is not any product in stock to transport, it is just a logistics-related problem.
R. Majidov also added that some institutions and factories in China, which is Azerbaijan's main transportation direction, has decreased production volume. Cargo transportation with containers increases at least 50% every year: "We are expecting the same dynamics this year too. We do not forecast that coronavirus will have great effect on transportation field."
