Azerbaijan enters TOP-10 list of countries exposed to cyber-attacks

In I quarter of this year, Azerbaijan entered the TOP-10 list of the countries exposed to attack of ciphering-Trojan password stealing ware, "APA-Economics" reports citing "Kaspersky Lab" company.

Azerbaijan with the indicator of 0.81% has settled down in the 9th place of the countries’ rating list.

Note that the list of the top 10 countries exposed to this category of cyber-attack includes Bangladesh, Uzbekistan, Mozambique, Ethiopia, Nepal, Afghanistan, Egypt, Ghana, Azerbaijan and Serbia.

During January-March, the miner attacks in Azerbaijan accounted for 1.21%, the attacks of web-malicious software – for 6.49%, and the local infection attempts – for 33.88%.

In the reporting period, also the countrywide attempts of infection with mobile malicious software accounting for 2.68%, the mobile bank threats accounting for 0.06% and the mobile invader Trojan threats accounting for 0.01% were recorded.

While 1.4% of user devices have been exposed to attacks of malicious bank software.
