In January-February of this year, the volume of transported cargo in Azerbaijani part of Transport Corridor Europe Caucasus Asia (TRACECA) was 4 294,7 mln tons, while freight turnover was 915,6 mln tons, APA-Economics reports citing State Statistics Committee.
Freight in Azerbaijani part of TRACECA has increased by 5,5% in comparison to the relevant period of the previous year. 2805,8 thousand tons of freight were transported by automobile transport, 1092,5 thousand tons by railway, 396,4 thousand tones or 9,2% by sea transport.
