Baykar: "Turkish UAVs destroyed Armenian radar systems, armored vehicles, fortification equipment"

Turkey's first local and national Bayraktar TB2 UAV has completed 300,000 flight hours successfully and made a record, APA reports citing Baykar Company.

It has been noted that Bayraktar TB2 UAVs have been included in the weaponry of the Armed Forces of Turkey in 2014.

According to the Company, 160 Bayraktar TB2 UAVs, included in weaponry of Turkish, Ukrainian, Qatar, and Azerbaijani Armies, are operating currently: "Bayraktar TB2 UAV have been exported to Ukraine, then to Qatar and Azerbaijan. Bayraktar TB2 UAV is operating in Qatar, Syria, Ukraine, and Karabakh in hot desert, cold, snowy, and stormy conditions."

The Company noted that Bayraktar TB2 UAV played an important role in the liberation of the Karabakh region of Azerbaijan, which was under occupation for about 30 years: "Azerbaijan started counter-attack operation on September 27, 2020, in order to liberate Nagorno-Karabakh, which was under the occupation of Armenia. 44 days after Azerbaijani Army put an end to the Armenian occupation on November 10, 2020, and liberated Nagorno-Karabakh. Bayraktar TB2 UAV, improved by Baykar nationally and especially, was used by Azerbaijani Army along the whole frontline in the Patriotic War. According to the investigation of military experts, Bayraktar TB2 UAV destroyed air defense systems, radar systems, tanks, armored vehicles, trucks, fronlines, fortification devices of the Armenian Army. The success of the Azerbaijani Army amazed the world and world media and experts stressed the Turkish UAVs became a power, which is able to change military history."
