Adaptation of cargo transportation between Azerbaijan and Iran to regime applied due to coronavirus discussed

The discussions in online mode have been held on April 27 between delegations of the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan and the Customs Department of the Islamic Republic of Iran. The Azerbaijani delegation has been led by the deputy chairman of the State Customs Committee, major-general of customs service Javad Gasimov, the Committee told APA.

The adaptation of the cargo transportations to the regime applied in connection with the coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic at the customs control and crossing points between the two countries, the regulation of the processes of crossing of the border by goods and transport facilities, as well as a number of other issues have been discussed at the virtual meeting.

At the same time, the technical issues arising during transportation of goods arriving in the address of “AzKron” LLC Azerbaijani-Iranian joint venture in order to ensure continuity of activity of this company functioning at Neftchala Industrial Quarter have been discussed at the meeting and the relevant proposals have been voiced.
