Earthquake hits Azerbaijan

An earthquake has occurred in Babak district of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan, Republican Seismological Service Center told APA.

The earthquake has been recorded at 16:23 local time, 18 km west from Shahbuz station in the territory of Babak. The magnitude of the earthquake was 2.9 and the depth was 10 km.

The quake has been felt in epicenter up to 3 magnitudes.
