Health Ministry: Coronavirus patients, treated at home, are recommended to follow special behavior rules with their close people

Azerbaijan’s Health Ministry has recommended to citizens, who have contracted COVID-19 infection, to follow special behavior rules with close people, living with them, the Ministry told APA.

Member of the working group under the Ministry of Health established to prevent widespread of the COVID-19, Naila Dashdamirova has talked about recommended behavior rules for those coronavirus patients, who are asymptomatic or experience mild symptoms, with their family members while being treated at home during her online interview. These patients are firstly recommended to be isolated in a room while treating under a territorial doctor at their own homes. If there is not such a condition, bed of the patient should be 2 meters away from others. Naila Dashdamirova noted that patient and all other people, living with the infected person, can protect themselves and their surrounding people from infection by using medical mask and protective means at home. Medical mask is recommended to be changed in every 2 hours.”
