82 Azerbaijani children in Iraq were sent to Azerbaijan, Foreign Ministry Official Spokesman Dr. Ahmed Al-Sahaf said, APA reports.
"The Foreign Ministry participates in the deportation of 82 children from the Republic of Azerbaijan who were kept with their mothers, who are imprisoned by the Iraqi judiciary for joining ISIL terrorist organization," said Al-Sahaf.
According to him, bringing the number of deportee children 828 from various nationalities.
Recall that Azerbaijani children in Iraq and Syria have been brought into the country by the relevant Working Commission of Azerbaijan in recent years.
