Within the framework of the fight against the pandemic, UN, has provided technical assistance to Azerbaijan in specific areas through the World Health Organization, said Gulam Ishaqzai UN Resident Coordinator in Azerbaijan, at the press conference of the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan, APA reports.
UN Resident Coordinator in Azerbaijan noted that this assistance is aimed at increasing both potential and knowledge: “Training was also organized with journalists in order to deliver the information properly to the public. At the same time, we have organized various campaigns. By involving influential people in society, we have tried to promote good behaviour. We have assisted TABIB and Ministry of Health regarding personal protective equipment and other equipment. Currently, we are holding discussions with the Ministry of Economy and Cabinet of Ministers in the field of technical cooperation related to the recovery of the economy.”
