There are people killed and injured by stepping on mine who visited to the our liberated territories from occupation without special permission, Ministry of Emergency Situations told APA.
In order to prevent such tragic situations and call on people to avoid from illegal visits to the liberated territories from occupation, the awareness-raising activities have been launched by the Ministry in the liberated territories. During awareness-raising activities conducted in the settlements of Fuzuli, Tartar, Aghdam, Agjabadi, Khojavend and Jabrayil districts, people have been provided with the information that currently, demining operations are carried out in the liberated territories, visits to these territories are dangerous in this case, as well as these illegal acts create legal liablility.
It is planned to continue awareness-raising activities.
Ministry of Emergency Situations calls on people to refrain from illegal visiting to the liberated territories, and it is recalled that this is dangerous for life and health.
