Medicinal preparations packaged in Azerbaijan to be considered domestic product for 5 years

The medicinal preparations the packaging phase of production process of which is implemented on the territory of the Azerbaijan Republic will be considered domestic product for 5 years beginning from June 1, 2020 in order to apply the concession amendment in accordance with the law “About state procurements”, APA reports.

This has found its reflection in the change made to the Decree # 668 of the President of the Azerbaijan Republic “About implementation of the Law of the Azerbaijan Republic “About state procurements”” dated January 29, 2002, signed today by the President Ilham Aliyev.

Note that according to the change made in the law “About state procurements”, the concession amendment is also applied to the products any phase of production process of which implemented on the territory of the Azerbaijan Republic, determined by the body (institution) designated by relevant executive power agency in order to stimulate investments in the area of production of non-oil products.
