The non-bleached Kraft paper with a weight of 225 g and more per m² and other Kraft paperboards imported in Azerbaijan have been exempted from customs duty for 2 years, APA reports.
The Cabinet of Ministers has made a change in this regard in the “Goods nomenclature, importation customs duties rates and exportation customs duties rates of foreign economic activity of Azerbaijan Republic”.
The decision will come into force 30 days after its publication i.e. on January 19, 2020.
Note that the Kraft paper is a high resistance corrugated paper made of sulfate cellulose. That paper is made from wood by the sulfate pulp cooking process and this process is referred to as Kraft process.
