Public transport not to run in 14 cities and regions of Azerbaijan from today until August 3

In connection with the special quarantine regime, the restriction has been imposed on the functioning of public transport, APA reports.

Based on the decision of the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers, the functioning of all public transport facilities has been prohibited during weekends on the territory of Baku, Jalilabad, Ganja, Masalli, Mingechevir, Sumgait, Yevlakh cities and Absheron, Barda, Goranboy, Goygol, Khachmaz, Siyazan and Shaki regions where the special quarantine regime has been toughened.

In connection with this, the public transport will not function on the aforementioned territories from 00:00 a.m. today until 06:00 a.m. on August 3. Previously, the public transport didn’t function from 00:00 a.m. on July 4 until 06:00 a.m. on July 6, from 00:00 a.m. on July 11 until 06:00 a.m. on July 13, from 00:00 a.m. on July 18 until 06:00 a.m. on July 20, from 00:00 a.m. on July 25 until 06:00 a.m. on July 27 on the territories where the special quarantine regime was toughened. Note that the functioning of the Baku metro has also been suspended in connection with the special quarantine regime.
