SMS permission system canceled in Baku and 16 more cities and districts

As certain stability is observed in the dynamics of the spread of the disease in a number of countries and Azerbaijan, it was decided to soften some of the restrictions within the framework of the tightened special quarantine regime from 00:00 on January 18, 2021, APA reports.

According to the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan, from 00:00 January 18, 2021, the system of leaving based on SMS permit, "icaze.e-gov.az" portal and service card in the cities of Baku, Sumgayit, Ganja, Mingachevir, Shirvan, and Absheron region, as well as in Lankaran, Masalli, Jalilabad, Sheki, Zagatala, Guba, Khachmaz, Yevlakh, Barda, Bilasuvar, and Ismayilli district centers has been canceled.

From January 25, it is also planned to remove some of the restrictions of the tightened special quarantine regime.

Note that the term of the special quarantine regime in the territory of Azerbaijan has been extended until 06:00 April 1, 2021.
