A meeting was held at Azerbaijan's Ministry of Health with the delegation headed by Anna Popova, Head of the Federal Service for the Oversight of Consumer Protection and Welfare (Rospotrebnadzor) of the Russian Federation, who is on a visit to our country, APA reports.
The Minister of Health of Azerbaijan, Teymur Musayev, who delivered his opening speech, emphasized the effective cooperation between our countries in health and medical science. It was reported that the Russian epidemiological school, which celebrated its 100th anniversary and is known for its experience and professional traditions, occupies one of the leading places in the world.
During the meeting, which took place in an atmosphere of constructive and mutual understanding, the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Federal Service for the Oversight of Consumer Protection and Welfare (Rospotrebnadzor), the signed the agreements "On ensuring epidemiological safety in areas with border natural foci of plague" and "On cooperation in the field of application of international medical and sanitary regulations" (2005)".
