The next meeting of the working groups operating under the Interdepartmental Center of the Coordinating Headquarters to the territories of Azerbaijan liberated from occupation has been concluded, APA's correspondent assigned to Zangilan reports.
In addition to the work carried out at the next meeting of the working group on environmental issues and current issues, discussions were held about the biodiversity of Zangilan region, the management of solid household waste in liberated territories, the efficient management of construction and demolition waste generated in these areas and their reuse as raw materials, including the environmental measures implemented by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources in Zangilan and Gubadli districts in connection with the construction of small hydropower plants on Okchuchay (Sayifli, Sarikishlaq, Zangilan and Jahangirbeyli), and the use of mineral deposits in Jabrayil, Gubadli and Zangilan regions, which are part of the Eastern Zangezur economic region.
The next visit of the working groups operating under the Interdepartmental Center of the Coordination Headquarters to the territories freed from occupation was organized, APA reports.
The purpose of the visit is to hold the next meeting of the working group on environmental issues.
The meeting held in the village of Agali, Zangilan region, is chaired by the head of the working group on environmental issues, deputy minister of ecology and natural resources, Vugar Karimov.
