Number of people learning Japenese language in Azerbaijan unveiled

Japanese Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Azerbaijan Junichi Wada

"One of the important pillars of cooperation in the field of education is the teaching of the Japanese language in Azerbaijan: 340 people continue to study Japanese in 2 higher educational institutions, 2 schools, and many private courses," Japanese Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Azerbaijan Junichi Wada told in an interview with APA.

"Besides, many Azerbaijanis study or conduct research in various fields in Japan with scholarships from the Japanese government. I hope that such cooperation in the fields of culture and education will be an opportunity for further improvement of friendly relations between our countries," he said.
