Research works to find the remains of missing persons will be carried out in the direction of Zangilan and Jabrayil of Azerbaijan, Scientific Secretary of the Institute of Archaeology, Ethnography and Anthropology of Azerbaijan National Academy of Science (ANAS) Akif Guliyev said in his statement to journalists, APA reports.
He said that laboratory analyzes are currently being carried out on the skeletons found in Yukhari Seyidahmadli village of Fuzuli district as part of the research work conducted from May 3 to 17:
"As you know, there are about 4,000 missing persons and 15,000 people have been analyzed. Based on those analyses, the bones found are being matched. Currently, cleaning work is being carried out due to the danger of mines. After the work is finished, we will continue our research in June. Searches will be conducted again in Fuzuli, and then in the direction of Jabrayil and Zangilan".
