Trial on the criminal case of the Armenian militants Mkrtichyan Ludvik Mkrtichovich and Khosrovyan Alyosha Aramaisovich who tortured Azerbaijani captures during the First Karabakh War has ended, APA reports.

The verdict was read in the administrative building of the Yasamal District Court, chaired by Baku Military Court Judge Elbay Allahverdiyev.

According to the verdict, Mkrtichyan Ludvik Mkrtichovich and Khosrovyan Alyosha Aramaisovich have been each sentenced to 20 years in prison.

Note that the public prosecutor had demanded 20 years in prison for each of the accused.

Trial on the criminal case of the Armenian militants Mkrtichyan Ludvik Mkrtichovich and Khosrovyan Alyosha Aramaisovich who tortured Azerbaijani captures during the First Karabakh War is being continued, APA reports.

The lawyers of the accused people have delivered a speech in the process held under the chairmanship of Judge of the Baku Military Court Elbay Allahverdiyev in the administrative building of the Yasamal District Court. Later, the accused people have delivered their last words.

In their last words, the Armenian militants thanked the court and the staff involved in the investigation: “We were treated very well during the trial. We apologize to the President of Azerbaijan, the people of Azerbaijan and the court. We beg you to forgive us.”

The court went to a meeting to announce indictment.
