SBS: Information on diversion at Armenian border does not reflect truth

News has been disseminated today on Armenian media that the Azerbaijani side conducted diversion in the direction of the Gazakh region of Azerbaijani-Armenian state border and as a result, a serviceman of Armenian Armed Forces injured, State Border Service (SBS) told APA.

According to SBS, the news regarding servicemen of SBS conducted diversion is not true and does not reflect reality: "On March 6, beginning from the morning hours, our border battle stations in the direction of Jeferli village of Gazakh region were exposed to intensive firing from heavy-caliber armaments and sniper rifles by the units of the Armenian Armed Forces deployed near Sevkar and Sariguyug villages of Ijevan region of the Armenian Republic. The enemy’s provocation was prevented, the battle positions of the Armenian Armed Forces from which the fire had been opened against our border battle stations were silenced with retaliatory fire".
