Azerbaijan will involve foreign investment in the amount of USD 500 mln. in the renewable energy sources sector in the framework of different projects in the coming months, said Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov at the closing part of the virtual Energy Investment Forum (EIF) of the CAREC (Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation) which is nominally hosted by Azerbaijan, APA-Economics reports.
Minister noted that total power of projects considered in the solar and wing energy field will make up 470 MWt. Furthermore, P. Shahbazov added that the Energy Efficiency Improvement Fund will also be established in Azerbaijan soon.
