During January-October of this year, 29 288,9 thousand tons of oil were transported via magistral oil pipelines in Azerbaijan which is 9,7% less compared to the relevant period of 2019, the State Statistics Committee told APA-Economics.
79,3% of the transportation was implemented via Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) oil export pipeline and 23 240,2 thousand tons of oil were transferred via this pipeline during January-June of the current year (11% decline compared to January-October of 2019).
"During that period, 3 324 thousand tons of transit oil (12,4% decline – editor’s note) were also transported via BTC pipeline", the report says.
