Volume of gas delivered from ACG to SOCAR increased by 43%

During the first quarter of this year, ACG delivered an average of 11.6 million cubic metres per day of ACG associated gas to SOCAR (1 billion cubic metres in total), primarily at the Sangachal terminal but also to SOCAR’s Oil Rocks facility, which is 43% more in annual comparison, APA-Economics reports citing a report of the BP (operator of the project) on results of I quarter of 2021 on operations conducted in Azerbaijan.

During the first quarter of the previous year, on average 0.7 bln. c/m gas was delivered from ACG to the SOCAR.

"The remainder of the associated gas produced was re-injected for reservoir pressure maintenance," noted in the report.
