The transmission capacity of Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) may be doubled (from 10 bln cubic meters to 20 bln cubic meters) by the construction of only two compressor stations, Luca Schieppati, TAP managing director said, APA-Economics reports citing Italian media.
According to him, market-test has been conducted due to the perspectives of doubling the transmission capacity of TAP and market is aware of the capabilities of the gas pipeline.
“There is not any technical problem. Only two compressors are needed in Greece and Albania. But pipes will remain same,” Luca Schieppati stated.
