Baku – APA-Economics. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan signed a bill to ratify deal with Russia on Turksih stream gas pipeline, Sputnik reported.
"Legislation No6765 (On the Ratification of an Agreement on the Turkish Stream") has been deemed acceptable!" the notification read.
The draft law was passed earlier by the Turkish parliament. The document was published by the Resmi Gazete, the country’s official journal that publishes new legislation, thus coming into force.
Russia and Turkey signed an intergovernmental agreement on the pipeline on October 10. Two strings will carry each an annual 15.75 billion cubic meters of Russian natural gas to Turkey across the Black Sea.
