“Baku is known for not only organizations of sports competition, but also as host of number of other international events”, said UK Ambassador to Azerbaijan Carol Crofts, ONA reports.
She noted that 4-5 thousand British citizens live and 400-500 British companies operate in Azerbaijan: “UK Embassy in Baku cooperates with Azerbaijani officials, AFFA, with both clubs and London Metropolitan Police in order to meet large number of football fans in Baku.”
According to Ambassador, 4 charter flights will be arranged from UK to Azerbaijan regarding football match. The information regarding the number of British fans will be updated tomorrow.
