Nikol Pashinyan has not been elected Prime Minister by the National Assembly of Armenia today, APA reports citing Mediamax.
1 MP voted in favor, 3 voted against Pashinyan, and 75 abstained.
Nikol Pashinyan resigned on April 25.
Under the Constitution, snap elections can take place if the PM resigns and the parliament fails to elect a new Prime Minister twice. That automatically dissolves the parliament.
The parliamentary elections are scheduled for June 20.
