Belarus documents 700 novel coronavirus cases and 13 deaths

The number of people infected with the novel coronavirus in Belarus has risen from 562 to 700, the Belarusian Health Ministry informed, adding that 13 deaths have been documented in the country, APA reports citing TASS.

"As of April 6, 2020, there are 634 people receiving treatment at hospitals. The majority of patients have mild or moderate symptoms," the ministry informed, adding that 53 people have been discharged from hospitals on recovery.

There are 13 virus-related deaths recorded in Belarus. The Health Ministry noted that the country had carried out over 40,000 tests for the novel coronavirus at 13 labs active in Belarus.
