The 8th European Film Festival will be held in Baku on November 2-12.
The European Film Festival has already became a trademark, and this year Norway will join the festival for the first time, Head of the EU Delegation to Azerbaijan, Ambassador Kestutis Jankauskas said at a press conference held in Park Cinema in Baku on October 31, APA reported.
According to the ambassador, the festival will feature 21 films made by 19 EU countries, as well as Norway and Azerbaijan.
Jankauskas noted that the European Film Festival, which became a tradition in Azerbaijan, serves the development of cultural relations between EU countries and Azerbaijan, and better understanding of European values â€‹â€‹through the European film industry.
Film Nar Baghi (Pomegranate Orchard), which tells about a family drama, will be displayed at the festival.
