Draft law “On Independence Day” has been adopted in the first reading after discussions at the meeting of Azerbaijani Parliament today, APA reports.
According to the draft law, name of May 28 - Republic Day has been changed to Independence Day, October 18 - State Independence Day changed to the Day of Restoration of Independence.

The draft law “On Independence Day” is being discussed at the Milli Majlis, APA reports.
According to the draft law, May 28 will be declared as Independence Day, and October 18 will be marked as the Restoration of Independence.
At the same time, Independence Day and Day of Restoration of Independence will be marked as a holiday every year. a
