“Based on historical roots, Hungary attaches special importance to the development of relations with Turkic-speaking countries,” said chairperson of the Parliament Sahiba Gafarova at the meeting of the Milli Majlis held today, APA reports.
Speaking about her visit to Hungary, Sahiba Gafarova said that relations between this country and Azerbaijan are a strategic partnership: “Attention is attached by both sides to deepening of this cooperation. One of the main duties of the Turkic Council is a fight against international terrorism.
Such an opinion has been the mainline in every meeting, we held in Hungary: “Armenia kept Azerbaijani territories under occupation for 30 years. 4 resolutions of the UN have remained on paper. At least, Azerbaijan provided these documents last year and achieved territorial integrity. At the same time, I called on the international community to make Armenia provide maps of mined territories once more. Armenia demonstrates a non-constructive position in the issue of delimitation of borders too.”
