Azerbaijan’s trade surpplus sharply increases

In January-September of this year, the foreign trade turnover of Azerbaijan made up USD 22 974 296 thousand, it is 24,8% more in annual comparison, APA-Economics reports citing the report of State Customs Committee.

In the first half of the year export made up USD 14 629 820,87 thousand, while import was USD 8 344 475,16 thousand. Azerbaijan’s export increased by 38,3%, while imports increased by 6,7% in annual comparison.

During the reporting period, there was a positive balance in the amount of USD 6 285 345,7 thousand, which is 2,3 times more in comparison to the relevant period of the previous year.
