Ambassador: “Vaccine to be sent by Azerbaijan will protect 20 thousand Kyrgyz people from risks of pandemic”-EXCLUSIVE

“Despite the budget deficit, in such difficult epidemiological situation Kyrgyzstan is purchasing vaccines from China and Russia in order to ensure life and safety of citizens of Kyrgyzstan,” Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to Azerbaijan Kayrat Osmonaliyev told APA.

The ambassador noted that therefore Kyrgyzstan expresses its gratitude to brotherly Azerbaijan for support in giving free of charge 40 thousand AstraZeneca vaccine against COVID-19 infection.

“I think that this will protect 20 thousand Kyrgyz people from the risks of the pandemic. We express our gratitude to Azerbaijani leadership for this help which will further strengthen our friendship and strategic partnership relations in near future.”
