Today, Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Ali Ahmadov has met with the head of the EU delegation to Azerbaijan Kestutis Jankauskas, APA reports.
The parties discussed the implementation of the projects in Azerbaijan through the EU's assistance within the Eastern Partnership.
Expressing his gratitude for the support of the European Union to the projects implemented in Azerbaijan, Ali Ahmedov noted that all necessary steps have been taken by the government to continue mutually beneficial cooperation. Speaking about the current state of cooperation between Azerbaijan and the EU, the Deputy Prime Minister emphasized the broad perspectives for the development of relations.
Head of the EU delegation to Azerbaijan Kestutis Jankauskas stated that reliable partnership relations between Azerbaijan and the European Union are of particular importance.
He also revealed his views on important works in order to realize effective, efficient and timely implementation of new EU projects in Azerbaijan within the Action Plans in the following years. The sides also exchanged views on a number of other issues of mutual interest.
