Russian MFA says work is continued in the direction of release of detainees at the exchange of mine maps

"We consider that trilateral statements of Russian, Azerbaijani, and Armenian leaders, dated November 9, 2020, and January 11, 2021 provide a reliable guarantee for non-repetition of such kinds of tragic occurrences in the future," said Deputy Director of Press and Information Department of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) Alexey Zaytsev at the briefing today, APA’s correspondent in Moscow reports.

According to him, Russia keeps the implementation of duties coming from the trilateral statements at the focus of attention.

Russian MFA official noted that work is continued in the direction of release of detainees at the exchange of landmine maps: "We are sure that complete removal of these confrontations soon will help to normalization of relations between Baku and Yerevan."
