"Purpose of the "Summit for Democracy" called by the US and the European Union is to replace the United Nations", the Director of the Russian Institute for Political Studies Sergei Markov told APA's Moscow bureau.
The Russian expert considers that at present, the purpose of Moscow and Ankara is to further strengthen the UN, the world community of which all countries are members.
S. Markov noted that another purpose of the summit for democracy is to legitimize interference in the internal affairs of states: "To say braver, calling the summit for democracy is for breaking democracy in the other countries.
