“Currently, the engineering groups have been actively involved in mine clearance and clearing of unexploded ordnance with all means of forces", said Major General Anar Karimov, Head of the Engineering and Fortification Service of the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry, APA reports.
The Head of department noted that so far, more than 6 thousand 200 hectares of territory have been cleared by the Engineering troops of the Defense Ministry in the liberated territories from the occupation and has been handed over to the relative state bodies.
