Testing measures on mutual recognition of e-signatures between Azerbaijan and Turkey to be conducted in December

Preliminary testing measures on mutual recognition of e-signatures between Azerbaijan and Turkey will be conducted demonstrably within the framework “Bakutel-2019” exhibiton, Data Processing Center of Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies told APA-Economics.

The center said that currently, the negotiations in the same order are underway with Belarus on the implementation of mutual recognition of e-signature too.

“Generally, it is possible to expand the list of countries. Therefore amendments should be made to the legislation. It is about the adaptation of the relevant legislation of the country to eIDAS legislation of the EU. The measures are underway in this field,” the Center stated.

Note that “Bakutel-2019" exhibition will be held on December 3-6.
